Márquez clinches MotoGP title with Japan win

– Repsol Honda rider Marc Márquez clinched the 2016 MotoGP World Championship as he swept to victory at the Japanese Grand Prix, while Yamaha pair Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo both crashed out.Márquez arrived at Motegi with a 52-point advantage and muscled his way past Lorenzo into Turn 9, after the Yamaha rider had enjoyed a stint in the lead.Rossi followed Márquez through a couple of laps later but lasted only minutes more as he fell at Turn 10 in pursuit of the Spaniard, and retired after making his way back to the pit lane.Lorenzo maintained second spot, despite pressure from Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso, but lost the front end as he rounded Turn 9 and slithered into the...
