Brno MotoGP: Iannone leads Rossi in opening practice

Andrea Iannone, MotoGP's newest winner, continued his hot streak by topping the first practice session for the Czech Grand Prix in Brno, beating Valentino Rossi by 0.265s. Fresh from ending Ducati's victory drought last week in Austria, Iannone left it until the final minute of the session to set the best time, a 1m56.189s, on a chilly Friday morning in the Czech Republic. Iannone was forced to switch to his number two bike midway through the session, as his first bike suffered a mechanical breakdown. At this stage, it was a Yamaha one-two in the timesheets as Rossi held a narrow lead over teammate Jorge Lorenzo, which he extended to two tenths with a 1m56.454s. However, the Italian failed...
