Andrea Iannone, MotoGP's newest winner, continued his hot streak by topping the first practice session for the Czech Grand Prix in Brno, beating Valentino Rossi by 0.265s. Fresh from ending Ducati's victory drought last week in Austria, Iannone left it until the final minute of the session to set the best time, a 1m56.189s, on a chilly Friday morning in the Czech Republic. Iannone was forced to switch to his number two bike midway through the session, as his first bike suffered a mechanical breakdown.
