Injured Miller ruled out of Red Bull Ring race

Marc VDS rider Jack Miller will not be taking part in the MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring, having picked up an injury in a warm-up crash. The Australian suffered a high-speed crash at Turn 8 during Sunday morning warm-up - having fallen at the very same corner in FP3 on Saturday - and was taken to hospital in Leoben for a suspected chest injury. Having originally qualified 20th, he will now not take the start as he was deemed unfit to race. The Austrian Grand Prix, as such, will mark the second time in 2016 that Miller has had to skip a race, having been previously ruled out of the COTA event after sustaining a fracture in his right foot in a practice crash.
