MotoGP Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi feels that the switch from Bridgestone to Michelin tyres for 2016 is helping him with quicker lap times. On Saturday, Rossi secured his first pole position of the season for the Spanish Grand Prix. This will be the third time that Rossi starts on the front grid this season. In an interview, Rossi said that after struggling to get pole positions in 2015 he feels things are going a lot better in that regard now due to the Michelin tyres.
