Moto2: Folger from Lowes on first night

Moto2's opening sessions of the Qatar Grand Prix weekend saw Jonas Folger rise to the top of the timesheets as the Dynavolt Intact GP rider set a pacey 1m 59.566 near the start of the second practice session, perfectly timed for the optimum track performance. The German rider impressed by continually setting times under two minutes as the track conditions deteriorated. Folger was the winner of the Qatar Grand Prix in 2015. Sam Lowes sits in second, both in the second session and overall after a day mixed fortunes for the British rider. His times showed great pace but crashes in both sessions hampered Sam Lowes progress, the Gresini rider pushing hard after dominating testing. Alex Rins...
