Redding pleased with Silverstone's return
Scott Redding is delighted that Silverstone will once again be on the MotoGP calendar this year after it was initially dropped in favour of Donington Park. The Circuit of Wales' (CoW) five-year contract with Dorna to host the British MotoGP kicked in from 2015, but they awarded this year's edition to Donington Park as the Ebbw Vale venue is still under construction. However, Donington Park officials last week broke off their deal with the CoW and the event was moved back to Silverstone.
