Cal Crutchlow was satisfied to have set his best ever lap of the Silverstone circuit but wasn't totally enamoured to be starting from the third row of the grid for Sunday's MotoGP race. The Englishman was the third of the 'Factory' mounted British riders as he rode to the eighth fastest time in Q2, 0.2s off Bradley Smith in sixth.
