Barbera out to bolster Open class status
Avintia Racing's Hector Barbera is confident of strengthening his position as the top Open class rider in MotoGP at Indianapolis on Sunday. Barbera currently leads the way in the Open standings and believes he can come through to challenge some of the satellite and factory riders this weekend at the 'Brickyard' in the USA on his Ducati GP14. “I didn't like too much Indianapolis but last year they made some changes on the layout and I think this would be good for our Ducati,” he said. “During the last weeks I've been relaxing on the beach, but combining it with my physical training.
