Laverty gets new swingarm for Assen
Denied a debut on the latest Open Honda swingarm by rain at the Catalunya test, the Aspar team have confirmed that MotoGP rookie Eugene Laverty will get to try the new part this weekend at Assen. “The team continue to support me 100% plus Honda have stepped in to help us move forward which I'm extremely grateful for. Everything's really starting to come together now,” Laverty said. Team-mate Nicky Hayden has used the new swingarm for the past three rounds, with LCR's Jack Miller running it since pre-season testing.
