Alex Marquez ends Silverstone with ‘good feeling’, claims third top ten in a row

Alex Marquez continued his upturn in form at the British MotoGP with an impressive eighth place finish after making the soft rear tyre last the distance.  Crash MotoGP Podcast - Click here to listen to Keith Huewen, Harry Benjamin and our own Pete McLaren talk MotoGP Many riders struggled with rear tyre drop off even on the harder medium compound, however, Marquez was able to make the soft work to his advantage, especially in the opening laps after starting 17th.  Marquez was helped by a great launch off the line, while many around him went backwards on the opening lap.  From then on, Marquez slowly made his way forward before the final five laps arrived, as he too began to struggle. ...
