Gardner: I saw I was quicker and calmly began to push

Remy Gardner was nothing short of sensational during round eight of the 2021 Moto2 season as he dominated the German GP from start to finish.  Gardner made his way past rookie team-mate and pole sitter Raul Fernandez at the beginning of lap two, before eventually winning by over six seconds from Aron Canet.  Gardner pushed on the pace immediately after passing the Spaniard who was the only rider capable of following the Australian, however, the pace was so high from Gardner that Fernandez crashed out at turn three on lap five.  Gardner’s victory now means a 36 point gap has been opened up between him and Fernandez.  Related Articles Red Bull KTM and Aki Ajo renew Grand Prix...
