A debut Moto3 pole position for Filip Salac.   Darryn Binder clashed with Joel Kelso on an out-lap at the end of Qualifying 1, forcing hasty repairs to his Petronas Honda ahead of Qualifying 2.   But the incident was also put under investigation and, having warned there would be harsh penalties in Moto3 after the antics seen in the Catalunya race, Binder was given a black flag for 'irresponsible riding' and thus disqualified from Q2.
