Sachsenring ‘similar to a karting circuit', Gardner eyes 'top five'

New MotoGP rider for 2022, Remy Gardner, enters round eight of the 2021 Moto2 season with an increased championship lead of 11 points following his back-to-back wins in Italy and Spain.  The victories in Mugello and Catalunya were the Australian’s second and third career Moto2 wins, whilst also his first of this season.  Given the recent form shown by both Gardner and team-mate Raul Fernandez - have been a class above the rest with three consecutive one-twos, both Red Bull KTM Ajo riders will be favourites for similar results at this weekend’s German GP.  Sachsenring is a fairly unique track when it comes to the current crop of MotoGP races.
