Alex Rins surgery complete, sets sights on Sachsenring

Alex Rins has set his sights on a Sachsenring return after undergoing surgery for a freak right-wrist fracture while riding a bicycle around the Catalunya circuit on Thursday morning. In order to recovery as soon as possible Rins, who has fallen in the last four MotoGP races, underwent surgery at the nearby Dexeus University hospital in Barcelona on Friday. "Today Alex Rins underwent a minimally invasive fixation with compression cannulated screws," said Dr. Xavier Mir, Head of the Hand, Elbow and Microsurgery Surgery Unit at the Dexeus University Hospital.
