Espargaro 'shocked' by KTM rookie Lecuona’s Misano pace

KTM's Pol Espargaro was "shocked" at how well rookie Iker Lecuona was riding in MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix practice, after the Tech3 rider ended the day fifth overall. Lecuona was a surprise call-up for KTM to join Tech3 for 2020, after the Austrian marque elected to move Brad Binder up to the factory squad to replace Johann Zarco. Making his debut as a replacement for the injured Miguel Oliveira at Tech3 in the Valencia GP last year, Lecuona endured a tough start to this season.
