Fabio Quartararo beats team-mate to go fastest in FP2

Fabio Quartararo topped the timesheets in FP2 at the Misano grand Prix this afternoon, beating his teammate Franco Morbidelli by just over one tenth of a second. The Frenchman was impressive during the 45-minute long session, bettering his own lap times, but all eyes were on FP1 pace-setter and Yamaha factory rider Maverick Viñales as he jostled with the fellow Yamaha for the top spot. The pair traded places with each other early on in the session before Team Ecstar Suzuki rider Joan Mir slotted his machine into P1 with a time of 1.33.236, a full 0.134 of second faster than Quartararo.
