Morbidelli expects Zarco to be sanctioned for MotoGP Austrian GP crash

Franco Morbidelli says he doesn't think Johann Zarco will go unpunished by MotoGP stewards for their horrifying collision in last week's Austrian Grand Prix. Petronas SRT rider Morbidelli clipped the back of Zarco's Avintia Ducati as they both headed through the fast Turn 2 kink under braking for Turn 3 at the Red Bull Ring last Sunday, with both sent into the gravel at frightening speeds. Zarco's bike almost struck Maverick Vinales at the Turn 3 right-hander as it vaulted the air fence, while Morbidelli's bike narrowly avoided both Vinales and Valentino Rossi as it slid across the track.
