Mir to remain with Suzuki MotoGP team through 2021/22

Joan Mir will remain with Suzuki in MotoGP until at least the end of 2022, the Japanese manufacturer announced this morning. Mir completed a promising rookie season in the premier class last year having scored a best result of fifth in the Australian grand prix at Phillip Island, ending up 12th in the riders’ standings despite missing three races mid-season due to a testing injury inflicted at the official test at Brno.
