French MotoGP round postponed as Covid 19 situation continues

The French grand prix scheduled to go ahead at Le Mans on the 17th of May has been postponed indefinitely due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The event becomes the latest to be postponed as a result of the continued Covid 19 situation, with four of the preceding five contests having already been shuffled to later in the schedule, while the Qatar premier class outing was cancelled completely.  “The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports regret to announce the postponement of the SHARK Helmets Grand Prix de France, which was set to be held at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans from the 15th to the 17th of May,” read a collective statement. “The ongoing coronavirus outbreak has obliged the event to be...
