Lewis Hamilton, Marc Marquez and Mercedes nominated for Laureus awards

World Champions Lewis Hamilton, Marc Marquez and Mercedes have been nominated for Laureus’ World Sports Awards, with Sophia Floersch also featuring. Hamilton and Marquez claimed their respective sixth titles in 2019, with the Briton taking the Formula 1 crown and Marquez romping to the MotoGP world title. Mercedes also took its sixth successive title in Formula 1’s Constructors’ Championship. Hamilton and Marquez have been nominated for the World Sportsman of the Year while Mercedes is up for the Team of the Year award.
