MotoGP releases Indonesian circuit render ahead of 2021 debut

MotoGP has shown off a render of the under-construction Indonesian Grand Prix circuit, located on the island of Lombok, which will join the calendar in 2021. The street-style circuit will form part of a new development on the island, which sits to the east of Bali, a popular holiday destination. Although the circuit will have a similar layout to that of a street circuit, it will meet top FIM safety standards with large run-off areas, which has been achieveable because the circuit doesn't use existing roads, but will form part of a new hotel complex where the track will be used by the public when it isn't needed for racing.
