Tech 3 KTM’s Hafizh Syahrin will compete as a wildcard in the Malaysian round of the World Touring Car Cup at Sepang later this year, in a Volkswagen Golf TCR. Syahrin will compete for the German Engstler Motorsport outfit in the three-race WTCR event alongside fellow Malaysian racer Mitchell Cheah in a pair of Golf TCR’s. He will also contest the eight-hour motorcycle race that will run on the bill alongside WTCR that weekend as part of the Endurance World Championship, for an as yet unannounced team and bike.
