Ducati confirms Danilo Petrucci for 2020 MotoGP season

The Ducati MotoGP team has confirmed that Danilo Petrucci will remain with the squad for the 2020 season, continuing the partnership with Andrea Dovizioso. The 28-year-old joined the Italian outfit this year and currently sits third in the standings, just eight points behind Dovizioso but a distant 52 behind current championship leader and reigning champion Marc Marquez. Petrucci previously rode for the Ducati satellite team Pramac prior to making the step up to the parent outfit. 'I'm very happy to continue with Ducati for another year,' said the Italian rider.
