Johann Zarco: Inability to improve laptime a 'sad situation'
Johann Zarco says he was left in a “sad situation” by an inability to advance on the 1:56.770s he set on his KTM which put him in16th spot on day one of the Qatar pre-season test. Zarco has found the transition from Tech3 Yamaha to KTM difficult this winter, and was a lowly 17th on the timesheets at the end of the Sepang test, 1.4 seconds off the pace.
