Assen BSB: Dixon finds consistency with SC1 tyre

Jake Dixon has said that working with the Pirelli SC1 compound allowed he and the RAF Regular and Reserves Kawasaki team to find speed today in the Netherlands. The current championship runner-up finished eighth in this morning’s session before moving up to third this afternoon, despite feeling a bit under the weather. Dixon also admitted he may not be able to run the zero-compound tyre with the temperature drop, but believes he and the Lee Hardy Racing squad should be in a good position for the rest of the weekend with their setup on the SC1.
