Ducati voted for Silverstone Monday race – Tardozzi

Ducati MotoGP team manager Davide Tardozzi was happy to run the Silverstone race on Monday but was outvoted by those booked to test at Aragon on Wednesday. Tardozzi knew nothing of the impromptu rider meeting that eventually cancelled the event until he saw it happening on television and immediately went to see what was occuring. “I did not receive any official notification of a meeting between the riders and the race direction to make a decision about the cancellation of the Grand Prix,' said Tardozzi.
