Sepang-owned SIC Racing takes over Nieto MotoGP entry
Malaysian grand prix motorcycle team SIC Racing has secured a place on the MotoGP grid for 2019, taking Ducati satellite outfit Angel Nieto Team's place on the entry list. The announcement paves way for SIC Racing to field a pair of Yamahas in the premier class next year, ending the manufacturer's search for a replacement for long-time satellite team Tech 3, which will link up with KTM instead. SIC Racing, which is owned by the Sepang International Circuit, has competed on and off in Moto3 and Moto2 since it was established back in 2014.
