MotoGP Termas: Moto2 front row for Kent
Britain's Danny Kent put in a last-ditch attempt in wet conditions to bag a front-row start for tomorrow's Moto2 race at the Argentine MotoGP round. The Speed Up rider was sitting on the second row but got bumped back to eighth before heading out on his final run and managed a 1'56.536 which was enough to bag third place behind Lorenzo Baldassarri and pole man Xavier Vierge. Baldassarri looked odds on for pole but Vierge banged in an heroic final charge to cross the line with a 1'56.137 as the wet tyres really came into their own as rain got heavier as fast as the seconds clicked down.
