MotoGP Termas: Maiden Moto3 pole for Arbolino

Italian Tony Arbolino read changing weather conditions just right to grab pole position for tomorrow's Moto3 race at the Argentine MotoGP round with hometown hero Gabriel Rodrigo in third with Marco Bezecchi the filling in the sandwich. Rain had threatened since the start of the session and it was Arbolino, who slid into Romano Fenati's Marinello Snipers seat, who was quickest before drizzle began. He set a 1'53.782 to neat Bezecchi by three-tenths with Rodrigo two-tenths further back. Adam Norrodin put in the fourth-best time with a 1'54.346 to keep Enea Bastiannini at bay.
