Yamaha confirms leg fractures for Rossi

– Yamaha has confirmed that Valentino Rossi suffered a broken right leg during a training accident on Thursday, all but ending his 2017 title prospects.Rossi, fourth in this year's standings, was involved in an enduro accident in a training session close to his home town, and was transported to the Ospedale Civile di Urbino for a check-up.Yamaha did not initially reveal the state of Rossi's injuries, before duly confirming that he has been "diagnosed with displaced fractures of the tibia and fibula of his right leg."The 38-year-old Italian rider will undergo surgery as soon as possible."A further bulletin on Rossi's condition will be issued later on Friday...
