Motorcycle legend Ángel Nieto passes away

– Grand Prix motorcycle legend Ángel Nieto has succumbed to the injuries he sustained in an accident last week, MotoGP has announced.Nieto suffered a quad bike accident in Ibiza last week and sustained serious head injuries, being placed in intensive care as a result.Tragically, Nieto's condition did not improve, and it was announced that he passed away on Thursday, aged 70.Nieto won 13 world titles during a distinguished career, across several divisions, though referred to his achievements as '12+1', due to his superstitious nature.The Spaniard took 90 wins, and 139 podiums, from 186 starts, and was widely regarded as one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time.His tally of...
