MotoGP: Marc Marquez is the 2016 MotoGP World Champion

Marc Marquez has cruised to the 2016 Japanese Grand Prix victory and the 2016 MotoGP world championship in the process, taking an easy victory as the pressure got to title rivals Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, who uncharacteristically both fell from the race. Marquez, who has dominated most of the weekend's action, led almost from start to finish, seeing off both Yamahas of Rossi and Lorenzo in the opening laps of the race and never looking back as he applied the pressure and Rossi crashed out while chasing him.
