Márquez gets first shot to secure 2016 title

– Marc Márquez has his first chance to re-claim the MotoGP crown this weekend, though the Spaniard faces a tall order to clinch the title on Honda's home soil.Márquez currently leads Valentino Rossi by 52 points and needs to depart Motegi with a 76-point advantage in order to be mathematically assured of a third MotoGP title.Márquez will need to triumph at Motegi, with Valentino Rossi no higher than 15th, if he is to add to his 2013 and 2014 World Championships.If such a scenario arises, Márquez would also need reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo finishing off the podium, with the Yamaha rider currently 66 points in arrears.Such a scenario has not yet arisen this season, while...
