Lorenzo urges Yamaha to allow Jerez test: "I think I deserve it"

Jorge Lorenzo says Yamaha should allow him to test with his new team Ducati in November at Jerez "for the years that we spent together". Lorenzo will likely make his Ducati debut in the test at Valencia the week after the 2016 season finale, and the Italian marque is also keen on having its new rider take part in test days at Jerez in late November. However, Lorenzo's contract with current employer Yamaha runs to December 31, and while the Japanese manufacturer is expected to allow Lorenzo to join Ducati for Valencia - where Yamaha itself will field new signing Maverick Vinales - it is currently making no such concessions for the Jerez date.
