Andrea Iannone rules himself out of Aragon following practice
Ducati's Andrea Iannone has chosen to sit out this weekend's Aragon Grand Prix, after deciding during first practice that the pain is too much to endure, adding that he doesn't have the energy to compete. Iannone fractured his T3 vertebra during a practice crash a fortnight ago at Misano, but was cleared to participate this weekend. Although he set the sixth quickest time in practice on Friday, Iannone has ruled himself out of further running in order to be fully fit for the next race in Japan.
