Andrea Iannone has decided against racing in the Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix after suffering pain in FP1 from a lingering injury. Iannone, who fractured a T3 vertebra in a practice crash at Misano and sat out the San Marino Grand Prix as a result, said he would take a final decision on whether he would race at Aragon after Friday practice runs. And, despite having been declared fit by the medical staff and finishing a credible sixth in FP1, the Italian will not race at Aragon after all as he is suffering from neck pain.
