Andrea Iannone takes maiden MotoGP victory as Ducati secure Austria 1-2

Andrea Iannone scored his maiden MotoGP victory on Sunday at the Austrian Grand Prix as he battled against Ducati team-mate Andrea Dovizioso, to give the team their first win since 2010 and their first 1-2 since 2007. The pole sitter fought hard against his team-mate in the opening laps as Dovizioso taking second from Valentino Rossi at the start, before later taking the lead of the race. Rossi meanwhile dropped back to fourth as Jorge Lorenzo claimed third, though they remained in touch of the leaders.
