Espargaro fractures finger in FP2 crash

Suzuki works rider Aleix Espargaro has suffered a small fracture on the third finger of his left hand during FP2 at the Red Bull Ring. After having finished 15th in FP1, Espargaro crashed his Suzuki GSX-RR on his fourth lap in the second practice session at Turn 7. He did not head back out after the crash, instead making a trip to the medical centre. The state of the Suzuki rider's left hand will be evaluated again ahead of Saturday's FP3. The small fracture sustained by the Spaniard on Friday is not the first time Espargaro had injured a finger while riding MotoGP machinery.
