Marc Marquez progressing adequately from eye injury

Six-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez is recovering favourably from his most recent eye injury according to his Repsol Honda team.  Marquez was diagnosed with an episode of diplopia - also known as double-vision - following a training accident ahead of last month’s Algarve Grand Prix. The injury, which is a repeat of the eye problem he suffered in 2011, brought to an end a two-race winning streak for the eight-time world champion.  The back-to-back wins in Austin and Misano were his second and third of the season, which was good enough to put him third highest in wins - only 2021 world champion Fabio Quartararo and Francesco Bagnaia had more.
