Qualifying (1) results from the German MotoGP at Sachsenring, round 8 of the 2021 world championship.

The top two riders in Q1 - Rins and Pol Espargaro - now progress to the Q2 pole position shootout, where they will join the ten fastest riders after third practice.
The others will start, in the following order, from 13th on the grid onwards with the likes of Mir and Vinales just 17th and 21st.
Savadori and later countryman Morbidelli fell at the fast Turn 12 and 13 respectively, both walking away.
Qualifying 1 was delayed due to power issues in some garages.
