Misano track limits policing "big improvement" for safety - Rossi

MotoGP's track limits policing at Misano has been met with a positive reception from the series' top riders, with Valentino Rossi saying it was a good step for safety. A number of laps have been deleted throughout the weekend, with riders penalised for running wide at Turn 11 (Curvone) and Turn 16 (Misano). Rossi was pinged for going wide on exit of the latter turn late on in qualifying, which then demoted him from second to eighth - although he went quicker on his very next attempt and returned to P2. Speaking about it in the post-qualifying press-conference, he said: "It is better like this. Sometimes you have the problem that the lap can be cancelled, for sure more work for the guys...
