Iannone will not race at Misano MotoGP Andrea Iannone will not participate in the remainder of the Misano MotoGP weekend after a crash during practice on Friday. Ducati rider Iannone came off his bike at Turn 13 during the opening practice session for the San Marino Grand Prix. The Italian landed on his back, sustaining a fractured D3 vertebra as confirmed by a CT scan conducted at a local hospital following the crash. The final check-up results confirms that, he is unfit for remaining part of the Misano MotoGP race events. It is not yet known how serious his injury is, but Andrea will be unable to continue with the weekend's racing. Iannone will probably need to rest for a couple of weeks,...
