Iannone not fit to race at Misano after all
Ducati rider Andrea Iannone has not passed his pre-FP3 fitness test and is thus again ruled out of the San Marino Grand Prix. Iannone suffered a T3 fracture in a high-speed crash in FP1 on Friday and was then reported as unfit to race, missing FP2 as a result. However, later on in the day, the #29 rider was assessed as provisionally fit, meaning he could take part in the weekend pending further checks on Saturday morning. "I think in the end I have a chance [to race at Misano], it will be tough but I will try my best to get back on the bike," Iannone posted on social media on Friday.
