– Ducati rider Andrea Iannone has been forced to sit out the remainder of the San Marino Grand Prix weekend due to a back injury he sustained in free practice.Iannone picked up the injury when he crashed heavily in the early stages of Friday morning's first session at Misano, after losing control of his bike at Turn 15.Iannone returned to the Ducati garage before being taken to the medical centre for x-rays, and transported on to Cesena hospital, where his back injury was confirmed.MotoGP stated during the second session that Iannone has been "declared unfit [for the rest of the weekend] due to [the] back injury sustained in [his] FP1 crash".Andrea Dovizioso continued on...
