Misano to stay on MotoGP calendar until 2020
Italian Grand Prix venue Misano will remain part of the MotoGP calendar until the 2020 season. The 4.064km modified track has been on the world championship calendar since the 2007 season as the San Marino Grand Prix and will continue to host the race for the next four years. "Investments, professionalism and passion," said Luca Colaiacovo, Santa Monica SpA president at the announcement. "We feel another four years of MotoGP at Misano World Circuit as the eulogy of the job done by an international-level team, that during this decade reinforced Simoncelli’s as one of the most welcoming and safe international circuits.
