Redding motivated by possible chance to race GP17 next year
Pramac Ducati rider Scott Redding says speculation regarding his team getting a 2017-spec bike next year gives him motivation for the rest of the season. A Ducati satellite team since 2005, Pramac has raced with a year-old bike for the past two years, but it has been reported that one of its riders next year could be granted an up-to-date GP17. When asked about such a prospect by Motorsport.com, Redding admitted he is motivated to prove he is the one worthy of the newer bike - and not teammate Danilo Petrucci. "There is a little bit more motivation, knowing that there is some speculation," said Redding. "I always try my best, because you never know what's around the corner....
