MotoGP: Rossi to test 2017 parts this weekend

Valentino Rossi will undergo further analysis of the development parts he tested in Brno during practice at Silverstone this weekend.  The nine-time world champion tested a new chassis and swing arm following the Brno Grand Prix two weeks’ ago and felt the parts were a step forward on the package he’s been racing for the first 11 rounds of the 2016 season. In order to further evaluate these parts in a race weekend scenario, Rossi will test them on Friday at Silverstone before deciding whether he’ll use them in Sunday’s race, a move which could give the Italian a step up on team-mate Jorge Lorenzo who has seemingly been frozen out of Yamaha’s development plans.
