Baz wants to prove Avintia right for retaining him
Loris Baz says he is determined to prove that the Avintia MotoGP squad made the right choice in retaining him for next season in the remaining races of the 2016 season. The Frenchman endured a difficult first half of the year on his Ducati GP14.2, scoring only eight points prior to the summer break against 65 for teammate Hector Barbera. The low point came at Mugello, where Baz sustained a broken foot in a first-corner collision that ruled him out of racing at Catalunya and Assen.
