Márquez beats Lorenzo to pole at Brno

– Marc Márquez collected his fifth pole position of the season as he beat Yamaha rival Jorge Lorenzo during qualifying for the Czech Republic Grand Prix.Lorenzo had lowered the pole position record on successive laps to cruise clear up front, before Márquez set rapid sector times on his final effort at Brno.Márquez encountered traffic at the last corner as he had to pass Valentino Rossi and avoid Pol Espargaró, but crossed the line to record a time of 1:54.596.Márquez's lap was 0.253s quicker than Lorenzo, with Ducati's Andrea Iannone adrift in third place, as MotoGP's newest victor rounded out the front row of the grid.Suzuki's Aleix Espargaró ensured four manufacturers filled...
