Honda rider Marc Marquez escaped his Turn 3 crash in third practice at the Red Bull Ring without major injury, having only dislocated his shoulder. The championship leader was running behind teammate Dani Pedrosa, who ran wide at Turn 3 and was slow as a result. Also going deep, Marquez went off in order to avoid hitting Pedrosa, the 23-year-old admitting it as his fault.
